Toby Bluth — At age six, Bluth drew his first pencil sketch, a depiction of Mickey and friends celebrating Pluto's birthday. Bluth says that he must have known, even then, that he was meant to create Disney Art. Bluth prefers the medium of watercolors because it maintains the feeling of light and air, and has the overall delicate characteristics of the classic films that he portrays. Bluth has illustrated 18 children's books and created many delightful anthropomorphic characters of his own.
Toby Bluth is a multifaceted artist. He is an accomplilshed writer, director, designer and a veteran of the American musical stage having performed and or directed in nearly one hundred musicals both on Broadway and beyond.
