Scott Bayless

SCOTT BAYLESS — Scott Bayless has achieved widespread recognition for his innovative calla lily designs in hot glass. Scott was raised in a small town in upstate New York. His interest in glass developed at an early age with a visit to the Corning Glass Works. After moving to Chicago in 1994, Scott began doing finishing work for Charles Lotton, one of the top glass artists in the world. It was here, at the Lotton Art Glass studio, that his dream of learning to make blown glass was finally realized. He is now creating his own distinctive line of art glass using the centuries old hot glass techniques that have been passed down to him.

From the creation of his calla lillies to the more recent development of the popular orchid design, Scott continues to push himself every day to create new designs.
